Web Developer fluent in Chinese
Homely Serviced Apartments is a startup company that provides serviced accommodation for short-term and long-term periods in Sheffield and the north of England.
We are currently recruiting for a web developer, who is fluent in Chinese to join our team in our Sheffield City Centre Office and to help us create user information solutions by developing and maintaining internet and intranet applications that will help us reach a global audience and particularly in Asia and China.
Job Role:
Liaise with our international customers in Asia and China.
Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements.
Ensure that every partner and client is treated in a friendly, positive and enthusiastic manner in an attempt to build rapport.
Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Create multimedia applications by using authoring tools.
Complete applications development by contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems.
Will Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Update job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Necessary Skills/Qualifications:
Web Programming Skills, Software Requirements, Software Debugging, Teamwork, Web Savvy, Technical Zeal, Analytics and data mining techniques, PSQL, R, Google Bigquery, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tableau.
Required Skills:
Thorough understanding of all life-cycles of software development.
University Degree from a Top 5 University .
Fluency in English and Mandarin .
Entrepreneurial spirit.

Enthusiastic person who can demonstrate they have the willingness to learn and develop themselves.
Salary
£20,800 - £23,400
