Located on Ecclesall Road, La Luna is the perfect dating spot for a romantic ambience. It is a cosy, traditional Italian, which is extremely authentic. Usually all the wait staff are Italian and can advise (translate) you the best dish to get according to your taste. The food is extremely delicious and there is a varied menu to suit anyone. One of the best features of this amazing restaurant is that you can bring your own drinks. This will score you extra brownie points if you can find out your date's favourite bottle and bring it along to the date!
The restaurant offers extremely competitive prices! It is a perfect quiet spot where you can really get to chat to each other and enjoy each other's company alongside a traditional Italian meal of and your chosen wine or beer. As a recommendation, I would suggest the Linguini Pescatore, which is pasta with a selection of seafood. As the restaurant is reasonably small and extremely popular it is essential to book in advance.

The botanical gardens in Sheffield are beautiful gardens filled with plants, trees, wildlife and even an old bear-fighting pit! There are plenty of talking points throughout the garden to fill those awkward first date silences! During the summertime, the botanical gardens is the perfect spot for a picnic. Grab a picnic blanket and get creative with your picnic ideas! Either make stuff at home or stop by your local delicatessen and pick up some deli-treats for the picnic. Jazz it up by adding that touch of luxury with a bottle of something fizzy. Being surrounded by nature, sun and hopefully your perfect date will make for a truly memorable experience.

All together you are looking at spending around £20 for a great picnic for 2!

This is is the perfect option for a day time date. Tamper Coffee is a beautiful independent Kiwi coffee shop and restaurant and we all know how seriously Kiwi's take their coffee (very, and for good reason)! This is the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee in a quaint independent local cafe. The ambience is buzzing but reasonably quiet where you can really get to know someone or have a good catch up! Here you can get a delicious cup of coffee or two or even have a bite to eat! The food is an artisan take on traditional breakfasts such as Eggs Benedict or Smashed 'Avo' on toast!
