Understanding the name
You have probably seen different names of the coronavirus appearing in multiple sources, with the term COVID-19 popping up most frequently. COVID-19 is the name of the disease caused by the infamous virus, which is also known as "the" coronavirus/novel coronavirus.
The word corona means crown. Its appearance closely resembles the corona of the sun, which scientist observed under a microscope in 1968.
What can I do?
WHO have characterised Coronavirus(COVID-19) as a pandemic and the outbreak has been declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
